Rick and his daughter Destiny

Rick McCarthy is the CEO and Owner of McCarthy General Contractor.

As Captain of the Team, Rick is focused on Customer relations and motivating the extremely skilled team. Founded in February 2007, Rick had to learn quickly how to run a construction company. Growing a construction company during the great recession instilled conservative business practices, making a long-term sustainable construction company.

With best business practices, Rick has worked hard to remove the “Con” from Contractor.

Born and raised in the northwest, Rick is a 3rd generation craftsman and brings extreme attention to detail and production that can be counted on. Rick is also a member of CEO Coaching International.

When Rick is not working, you will find him enjoying outdoor activities, camping, fishing in Alaska, Hiking, and going wherever the adventure takes him.

Giving back is important to Rick; you can find him volunteering at the local food bank, executing projects with Marysville Rotary or helping build schools in Guatemala.

The Importance of Community

Community involvement is very important to McCarthy. The importance of communication, connecting, and developing positive relationships with people has created our desire to be very involved with the community. We are proud members of the Chamber of Commerce, Rotary 5050, and Master Builders Association. We also love being involved and supporting several fundraisers for various nonprofit organizations or helping people in need. Our passion, involvement, hard work, and dedication toward helping others continue to grow. Just like family, a strong community is the foundation of life, success, and positive outcomes!
